Bellandi Group holds a range of third-party certifications across its supply chain, participates in industry initiatives and frameworks, and has adopted materials with independently verified sustainability credentials. Together with our internal sustainability policies, these commitments provide an additional layer of traceability, accountability, and responsibility – from raw material sourcing to finished product.
Certifications
Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) RWS 2019-009
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is a voluntary standard that requires all sites, from wool farms to the seller in the final business-to-business transaction, to be certified. RWS farmers and ranchers are evaluated against animal welfare, land management, and social requirements set in the standard. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS) GRS 2018-005
Global Recycled Standard (GRS) sets the criteria for the third-party certification of recycled materials and chain of custody, including a 50% minimum recycled content percentage and additional social and environmental requirements related to processing and chemical use. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading standard setters to define world-wide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.
Organic Content Standard (OCS)
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a voluntary global standard that sets the criteria for third-party certification of organic materials and chain of custody. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.
Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ BVFR16184560
Masters of FLAX FIBRE™ certification guarantees sustainable agricultural practices and promotes the unique expertise of European fiber producers. It certifies all stages of processing, from flax fiber to finished products, for all markets. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
OEKO‑TEX® Standard 100 is an independent certification that ensures – through strict, globally recognized limits - textiles are tested for harmful substances throughout every stage of production, from raw fibers to finished products. It applies to specific certified products and certified chain-of-custody processes.

Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)
Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global framework promoting more sustainable cotton cultivation that respects both the environment and farming communities. It supports farmers in reducing water use and chemicals, improving soil health, and adopting responsible agricultural practices. BCI also promotes safe and fair working conditions across the cotton supply chain.
4Sustainability® ID Nr. 4S-100109
Our company has chosen to join 4sustainability®, the framework developed for the fashion and luxury supply chain to assess impacts and improve sustainability performance. Specifically, we have implemented the 4s CHEM Pillar, a structured chemical management system aimed at eliminating toxic and harmful substances. This pillar monitors the entire production cycle—from the introduction of raw materials and supplier qualification, through processing and storage phases, to wastewater management and the product’s release to the market. 4s CHEM is recognized and fully aligned with the ZDHC Supplier to Zero Programme methodology, and enables the achievement of the appropriate Supplier to Zero Programme Level attestation through 4s CHEM Assurance.

Lenzing TENCEL™ Lyocell
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers originate from natural wood pulp and are produced through an advanced closed‑loop process that recovers over 99.8% of the solvent, minimizing waste. These fibers come from responsibly managed forests, guaranteeing sustainable raw material sources. Thanks to a molecular marker, TENCEL™ Lyocell offers full traceability throughout the supply chain.
Livaeco by Birla Cellulose
Livaeco by Birla Cellulose comes from certified sustainable forests, ensuring full traceability from origin to finished product. Livaeco’s molecular tracer system allows garments to be tracked at every stage of the supply chain.
